Meet Dr. Greg Gilbaugh, DDS

I attended the University of Iowa on a football scholarship which provided me with many great memories, (along with a couple degenerative knees). I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1985, and completed residency training in Advanced General Dentistry in 1986. That training established the foundation to pursue a deep desire I had to serve people with compassion and skill in a field that I truly love and am passionate about. I founded the children's dental center with a desire to bring together a team of highly skilled and caring people that would share in the vision of providing an exceptional dental experience for individuals and their families as well as having a positive impact on our community. Today that desire and mission grows into reality.

I have been married to my best friend Laura since 1985, and we live here in Coralville along with our nine children. I am also a follower of Jesus Christ which provides me the privilege of being part of the pastoral team at Grace Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa.

Meet Dr. Jenn Feingold, DDS

Hello, I'm Dr. Jenn,

I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs and knew from a young age that I wanted to become a pediatric dentist. My first introduction to pediatric dentistry came through my mom, who worked as a nurse in a pediatric dental office. Watching the impact that prevention, education, and compassionate care could have on children and families inspired me to pursue a career helping kids build healthy, confident smiles.

All of my professional training has been at the University of Iowa. I earned my degree in Neurobiology in 2014 before continuing on to dental school and graduating in 2018. I then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

As a board-certified pediatric dentist, I care for infants, children, teens, and children with special healthcare needs throughout Coralville, Iowa City, North Liberty, and Eastern Iowa. My greatest passions are prevention, education, and helping anxious children gain confidence in the dental setting. I believe every child deserves a positive dental experience and strive to create an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to care for their smiles.

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and exploring the community with my husband and our miniature dachshund, Franklinn. He barks at everyone and everything, so don’t take it personally!

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this growing community and look forward to helping your child build a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Hi, I’m Dr. James!

I’m a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who loves helping children develop healthy smiles while making dental visits positive, comfortable, and even fun. I care for infants, children, teens, and children with special healthcare needs throughout Coralville, Iowa City, North Liberty, and Eastern Iowa.

I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids and attended the University of Iowa, where I competed nationally on the Taekwondo team. After earning my dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, I practiced as a general dentist for three years. During that time, I discovered that my favorite part of dentistry was working with kids. That passion led me to complete a pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida, where I received advanced training in pediatric dental trauma, sedation dentistry, preventive care, restorative dentistry, infant oral health, and caring for children with special healthcare needs. I was honored to serve as Chief Resident and receive the Todd Foege Health Advocacy and Leadership Award.

I also have a special interest in evaluating and treating tongue and lip ties and have completed advanced training through the Tongue Tie Academy. As a father myself, I understand how oral health concerns can affect the whole family, and I’m passionate about helping children thrive.

My goal is simple: to provide exceptional care while helping every child feel comfortable, confident, and excited to come to the dentist.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me spending time outdoors with my wife, Makenzie, and our five daughters, tackling a home project, attending local events, or cheering on the Hawkeyes.

I have been in the dental field since 2006, including 8 years in pediatric dentistry. I worked at The Family Dental Center for 5 years prior to our office opening.

I currently live in Tiffin with my three pups, Shep, Goose and Joe. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my two adult children and friends, watching Hawkeye sports, reading and Harley rides.

I am excited and very thankful to be the office manager at the children’s dental center! I cannot wait to see the kids and their families every day, you are what it is all about 😊 Welcome!

I graduated with my dental assisting degree in 2015 and have been in pediatric dentistry since 2018. My favorite thing about pediatric dentistry is having fun with the kids!

I was born and raised in Iowa City. I currently live in North Liberty with my two children, my dog, Bagel, and two cats, Cookie and Muffin. In my free time I am usually reading, playing board games, and having dance parties with my kids.

I am brand new to the dental field. I was a para-educator for 17 years working with kids of all ages and abilities. I coached high school softball, volleyball, and basketball for 13 years. I am so excited to be a part of The Children’s Dental Center.

My husband, John, and I live in Victor with our 2 dogs, Yankee and Mo. We are empty nesters and enjoy spending time with our kids Emma, Carson, and Jack. In my free time, I love to travel to beach destinations and Massachusetts to visit family.

Hi everyone! Before joining The Children’s Dental Center in 2023, I enjoyed many years working in customer service in the medical field. I am excited to learn more about pediatric dentistry!

I currently live in North English with my two kids, husband, and two dogs, Stewie and Oliver. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Cardinals, and going out for Mexican food. Fun fact, I never had any wisdom teeth!

I’m new to the dental field and I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing team! I have worked in healthcare administration since 1999 and have always had an interest in the dental field.

I was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois and currently live in West Branch. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, including my college-aged son Dylan, reading, and trying new restaurants. I’m a huge animal lover and enjoy learning new things.

Fun fact, I was born on Mother’s Day!

Outside of the dental office, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Diesel, staying active at the gym, and making memories with my friends and family.

Hi! I’m Kiera! I graduated from Kirkwood Community College in August of 2024 with my AAS and Dental Assisting Degree. I am born and raised in Center Point, Iowa. I am a proud big sister, Auntie, and dog owner! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family or friends, doing puzzles, and watching movies.

I have 10 years of babysitting experience, so I knew my passion for dentistry would fit best in a pediatric office! I look forward to providing an exciting and positive experience for you and your children!

Fun fact: I have applied to Wheel of Fortune twice, and will continue until I get casted! I’m destined to be a contestant!

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I graduated from Kirkwood Community College in December 2023. I was born and raised in Sigourney, IA. I currently live in North Liberty with my dog, Krissy. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, as well as going to concerts.

Fun fact about me is that I have seen Taylor Swift in concert 4 times!!

Hi, I’m Caitlin. I started dental assisting in October 2025 and am excited to continue growing in the field while helping create positive experiences for patients and their families.

I live in Muscatine, Iowa with my husband and our son, and I love spending as much time as I can with my family. Whether it’s being outdoors, making memories together, or enjoying time on the river, those moments are what matter most to me.

As someone who spent a lot of time at the dentist growing up, I understand how important it is for kids to feel comfortable and even excited about their visits. I enjoy helping create a welcoming, fun environment where families feel at ease and kids leave with a smile.

I graduated high school in 2022 and attended the University of Iowa with the plan to pursue nursing. I originally started working at The Children’s Dental Center as a summer job, but quickly found my calling here as a dental assistant.

I currently live in North Liberty and in my free time, I love to read, crochet, and be outside. Fun fact, my favorite holiday is Easter!

Hi, I’m Serena! I originally grew up in Missouri and moved to Iowa beginning of 2026. I have been a dental assistant for over 3 years now and absolutely love working with kids! Growing up I was very afraid of the dentist and now I love showing and helping kiddos make their dental visit the best experience possible. I’m excited to be working with such great team and meet all of you!

Outside of work I love to fish, go on walks with my dog Sissy, play pickle ball, and I also really love video games!
